As the Librarian at AWC, I am here to support the students in their academic preparation to serve God, the church, and society.  We have many resources to accomplish that goal including approximately 27,000 volumes, a computer lab, a printer/copier/scanner, and 84 periodical subscriptions.  In this position, I catalog resources, help students locate the necessary resources to complete their course requirements, and oversee the Information Literacy Program, along with various other responsibilities.  I have worked in the library a total of 9 years and enjoy serving God in this capacity!

Although our library is quite extensive, we believe it important to provide our students with every option available. AWC students are able to register as guests at Kent State University Salem Campus and enjoy full library privileges and interlibrary loan services with access to more than two million volumes at the KSU main campus. Books are also available through many Ohio institutions of learning through Ohio-link.

It is my daily pleasure to serve the students of AWC in various ways, including diverse research functions, basic technical support, maintaining appropriate and current acquisitions to meet the demands of their coursework, and the occasional math tutoring. Beyond these duties, the greatest pleasure of my position is building relationships with those I serve. I have laughed with them, cried with them, challenged them, and grown in my own faith as I have created friendships to last a lifetime.
