President's Welcome

Daniel R. Hardy

President

I personally welcome you to Allegheny Wesleyan College.

Our school motto, Where God is First, reflects the atmosphere which pervades all that we do!

Our lovely campus setting provides the avenue for Christian service in many churches which surround our area. Urban and country settings, inner-city ministries, nursing homes, detention centers, active bus ministries and junior churches all provide opportunity for valuable experience in realistic settings.

Allegheny Wesleyan College has a dedicated faculty and staff who desire to see students fulfill God’s call in their lives. The words of Conover Swofford reflect their sentiment:

My friend, I want your life to be as beautiful as it was in the mind of God when He first thought of you.

Whether you are parent, family, student, someone considering college, friend or simply a visitor, I want to say “thank you” for visiting our website and seeing what Allegheny Wesleyan College has to offer.

When I was little, I knew God had placed a call on my life. As I grew older, AWC clearly became the right step in that direction for me. I have not been disappointed. There are wonderful staff, faculty and students that truly care about you spiritually and do their absolute best to help you succeed as a laborer of Christ. God is using AWC to better prepare me for the calling He has placed on my life.
