It is Great to have you back on the 4U Page again. This week, we will be talking about the Advent, Joy! The first part of the famous hymn, “Joy to the World,” goes as followed. “Joy to the world! the Lord is come;” Who would have thought that the fulness of joy would be composed of in one tiny child wrapped in strips of cloth. Luke 2:10 & 12 says, “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.” During Jesus’ ministry He says in John 15:11, “These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.” There are so many things life offers in which people seek for real joy. It may be a new vehicle, the latest iPhone, or the newest style of clothing. The fact of the matter is, Jesus is the only source of real, true joy!
