After the completion of Rhoades Hall for student use, the Sexton Hall library building became the next academic building slotted for changes. The exterior is being redesigned to resemble that of Rhoades Hall and the D. R. Kaufman Memorial Building. In addition, the interior will be remodeled over the summer to allow for an extension to the library. Many people have already labored extensively to see this project progress, and we are grateful for their time and ability.

Also, we recently held our annual Singspiration event in the D. R. Kaufman Memorial building. Around 430 people attended the event and enjoyed the talented and God-honoring music of various young people and families. We appreciate those who spent hours of preparation to minister to our hearts with song, and we especially thank the Quales for coordinating the music. Thank the Lord for the ability to gather together as a community of believers and think on all that God has done for us and all that He will continue to do! As a special treat, the event was sponsored by Allegheny Wesleyan Youth In Missions. Rev. Benjamin Blowers and Rev. Gabriel Clyde spoke to the young people about the wonderful possibility of experiencing a mission field to gain a better vision for God’s plan of redemption. After the program was finished, everyone enjoyed refreshments sold by class organizations and the newly established Daily Grind, and the young people threw themselves into the following volleyball and basketball games! Thank you for your support and prayers for AWC, where we are endeavoring to prepare young people for Christian ministry wherever God may lead them.
