President’s Welcome

Daniel R. Hardy
President
I personally welcome you to Allegheny Wesleyan College.
Our school motto, Where God is First, reflects the atmosphere which pervades all that we do!
Our lovely campus setting provides the avenue for Christian service in many churches which surround our area. Urban and country settings, inner-city ministries, nursing homes, detention centers, active bus ministries,
Allegheny Wesleyan College has a dedicated faculty and staff who desire to see students fulfill God’s call in their lives. The words of Conover Swofford reflect their sentiment:
My friend, I want your life to be as beautiful as it was in the mind of God when He first thought of you.
Whether you are parent, family, student, someone considering college, friend, or simply a visitor, I want to say “thank you” for visiting our website and seeing what Allegheny Wesleyan College has to offer.

See What’s Happening At AWC
My words cannot truly relay how God is using AWC to reveal and unravel His will for my life. The classes with His inhabiting presence, the worthwhile conversations with mentors and friends, and the nurturing atmosphere are all the many sources I have been able to use to draw nearer with Jesus. I am truly beyond grateful!
